What is Removal & New Shellac?
When your Shellac has grown out or you fancy a new colour, the old one has to come off before the new one goes on. We gently remove the old colour, care for your nails and cuticles and apply fresh Shellac in the colour you choose. It all happens in one visit.
How it works
Step 01
The old colour comes off
We take the old Shellac off with care, so your own nail is protected.
Step 02
Nail care
We shape and file your nails and care for the cuticles.
Step 03
New colour
You choose a colour and we apply it in thin layers, each cured under the lamp.
Step 04
Finish
A glossy top coat, and your nails are dry straight away. We finish with a rich hand cream, as we do after every treatment.

- Time for new colour?
- Once you can see a gap of regrowth at the base, it's time. Shellac lasts up to 3 weeks.
- First time?
- If you're not wearing anything, book a regular Shellac.

A little history
How gel polish hardens
Regular polish dries as its solvents evaporate. Gel polish hardens in a different way. Light-sensitive ingredients called photoinitiators react under the lamp and start polymerisation, a chemical reaction that turns the soft gel into a solid layer.
