What is Gel Refill?
Your nails keep growing, so after a few weeks a strip of new nail appears at the cuticle. At a Gel Refill we fill that area with gel, rebuild the structure and refine the shape, so the nail is strong and balanced. Then you get fresh colour. Refills are for sets we built ourselves. We know them, which makes the work easier and quicker.
How it works
Step 01
We look at your nails
We check your set and talk about keeping your colour or trying something new.
Step 02
The regrowth is prepped
We file down the old gel and prep the new nail at the cuticle.
Step 03
The fill
We fill the regrowth with gel and rebuild the structure so the nail is strong and balanced. Every layer is cured under the lamp.
Step 04
Fresh colour and finish
We refine the shape and finish with fresh colour and a glossy top coat. We finish with a rich hand cream, as we do after every treatment.

A little history
Your nails grow about 3.5 mm a month
That figure comes from a 2010 study in which young adults marked their nails and measured them again one to three months later. After a month, that's roughly 3.5 mm of new nail at the cuticle. It's why we suggest a refill every 3 to 4 weeks.
