Gel reinforcement is a layer of gel applied over your natural nails to make them stronger and less likely to break, without adding length. At HER Beauty it costs 674 kr and takes 60 minutes. We're at Rosenørns Allé 4 in Copenhagen V, a few minutes' walk from Forum Metro.
It's for you if you want to keep your own nails and simply have them hold up. Your nails get a smooth, glossy surface, and the gel protects them while they grow.
How gel reinforcement works
We start by prepping your nails: shaping, cuticle care and a light buff of the surface so the gel grips. Then we build a thin, even layer of gel on each nail and cure it. You leave with stronger nails that look clean and cared for.
Your nails keep their own length. If you want them longer, gel extensions are the better choice. If you're after colour for a shorter stretch, see gel polish.

Gel reinforcement or BIAB?
If you're looking for BIAB in Copenhagen, you should know we don't sell a treatment under that name. BIAB stands for builder in a bottle, and people now use it as a general term for a thicker builder gel applied straight onto natural nails to strengthen them.
Our gel reinforcement meets the same need: a layer of gel on your natural nails that makes them stronger, so they don't split and snap as easily, with no extension. The difference is the name and the product, not the idea. Not sure what suits your nails? Ask us when you come in.
Brittle and broken nails
If your nails split at the tips or snap as soon as they get any length, a layer of gel can give them the support they're missing. If one nail breaks between appointments, book a Nail Fix for 55 kr. It takes 15 minutes and the nail is back in shape.

Removal and taking a break
When you want the gel off, we remove it for 309 kr in 30 minutes. Please don't peel it off yourself, because it easily takes the top layers of your own nail with it. Between appointments your nails hold up best if you wear gloves for cleaning and give your cuticles a little oil.
