Lash lift: lifted lashes, with or without colour

We lift and curl your own lashes from the root, so they look longer and your eyes look more open. Add colour if you'd also like darker lashes without mascara.

What is Lash lift?

A lash lift is a treatment for your own lashes. We lay your lashes over a soft silicone shield on the eyelid and use a lifting lotion, so they get a lovely upward curve from the root. Think of it as a perm for your lashes. No extensions go on, so they're your own lashes, just lifted. The result usually lasts 6 to 8 weeks, until the lashes have grown out.

How it works

  1. Step 01

    We look at your lashes

    We look at your lashes and choose the silicone shield that gives the curve you'd like.

  2. Step 02

    Clean lashes

    We cleanse your lashes so no make-up or oil is left.

  3. Step 03

    The lashes go up

    The shield goes on the eyelid and we comb your lashes neatly up over it.

  4. Step 04

    Lift and set

    First a lifting lotion that makes the lashes flexible, then a lotion that sets the new curve. Your eyes stay closed the whole time.

  5. Step 05

    Colour, if you chose it

    If you booked Lash lift + colour, we tint your lashes darker at the end. Then we cleanse everything off and you're ready.

Good to know

Lasts 6 to 8 weeks
Lashes renew all the time, so the curve fades little by little as new lashes grow in.
With or without colour
Without colour you get the lift. With colour your lashes also turn darker and stand out more. The colour usually lasts 4 to 6 weeks.
Keep them dry for a day
Avoid water, steam and mascara for the first 24 hours so the curve can set.
Eyes closed
You lie down with your eyes closed for the whole treatment, so you can simply sit back.

A little history

There's a perfect lash length

Researchers at Georgia Tech measured the eyes and lashes of 22 mammal species, from hedgehogs to giraffes. The best length was about a third of the width of the eye. That length protects the eye best from air and dust, while much longer lashes funnel air and grit towards the eye. The study came out in 2015.
